Christmas lights safety instructions:
When using Christmas replacement light bulbs, basic precautions should always be followed including these safety tips.
Do not use the replacement bulbs unless the lights are marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When outdoor Christmas light bulbs are used in outdoor applications, connect the outdoor twinkle lights to a ground fault circuit interrupting [GFCI] electrical outlets.
Unplug the lights when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if the blinking lights are left unattended.
Your replacement lights are not toys! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock the replacement bulbs for the twinkle lights should not be played with or placed where small children can reach the replacement bulbs.
The replacement bulbs are equipped with threaded screw in replacement light bulbs. Make sure that you do not over tighten the replacement bulbs causing the protective glass covering to break or crack.
To reduce the risk of overheating, replace any burned out light bulbs promptly with replacement bulbs for twinkling Christmas lights. Use the proper replacement bulbs with like volt and wattage twinkle replacement bulbs.
Always unplug your lights before installing or replacing the replacement bulbs.
Do not overload the electrical wiring that you are using the twinkle lights for. Only connect the recommended amount of light sets [usually three sets if not stated in the instructions] on one continues light string.
